01
This Privacy Policy applies to the Fortune mobile application, this website, and related support interactions (together, the “Service”). “Fortune,” “we,” “us,” or “our” means the application provider identified for Fortune on its Apple App Store product page.
Fortune is designed to keep core budgeting, planning, profile, and local usage data on your device. Information leaves your device only when needed for a feature you choose to use, to operate this website, or as otherwise described below.
02
The information Fortune handles depends on the features you choose:
03

We do not use financial data for third-party advertising, and the current app is not designed to track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising.
04
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only as needed with:
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Fortune does not receive your bank login credentials from Plaid or your Face ID or Touch ID template from Apple.
05
Core Fortune data is stored locally on your device and protected using iOS security controls. Local data remains until you delete it, erase it using an available in-app control, or remove the app and its data from your device.
We retain a waitlist email until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or it is no longer needed for the purpose disclosed. Hosting and connected-service providers may retain information under their own policies. We retain other information only as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or protect the Service.
No system is perfectly secure. Keep iOS current, use a strong device passcode and Fortune PIN, and do not share access to your device or connected accounts.
06
You can control your information in several ways:
Disconnecting an account stops future access but may not erase information already stored on your device or by a provider. To exercise a privacy right that applies where you live, such as access, correction, or deletion, use Fortune’s support contact. We may need to verify your request, and legal exceptions may apply.
You can also manage eligible Plaid connections and requests through Plaid Portal.
07
Fortune is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the Service, contact Fortune support so appropriate action can be taken.
08
We may update this Privacy Policy as Fortune’s features, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised effective date on this page and provide additional notice when required.
For privacy questions, requests, or legal notices, use the support contact available inside Fortune or on Fortune’s Apple App Store product page. Please include enough detail for us to understand and respond to your request.
